Home of the Sparrow is a transitional shelter program for women with children, single women and pregnant women who are homeless. The agency’s mission is to empower individuals and families to eliminate homelessness, joblessness, and hunger by teaching self-reliance, independence, and self-discipline.

Chicago Slaughter Fundraiser!

Home of the Sparrow and the Chicago Slaughter (indoor arena football) are teaming up on
March 27th, 2010 (Saturday) for a fundraiser at the
Sears Center in Hoffman Estates. The Chicago Slaughter games are family-orientated with tons of excitement including: face painting, sign making, giant bouncy, raffle items, Sgt. Slaughter, and post game autographs down on the field with the players and dancers. 

50% of the ticket sales will be donated Home of the Sparrow to help support homeless women and children in the shelters and transitional apartments.  You can download the form below to purchase your tickets, or call the Chicago Slaughter @ 847-310-3190 to purchase over the phone.  Remember to mention Home of the Sparrow as the organization in order to participate in the fundraiser.
